Amani Lwanzo

Amani is a private sector development expert with 12+ years of experience facilitating market access, and advising policymakers, aid organizations, and community leaders. Former Senior Economist at the US Embassy in Kinshasa, she led the agriculture, infrastructure, and energy portfolio. In 2017, hired as the program manager for the UK Aid-funded Essor Coffee Value Chain project, implemented by PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), Amani co-founded the Congolese Women in Coffee initiative, known by its French acronym IFCCA. Other projects Amani has worked on include consultancy work with the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa in Ethiopia and the Office of the Prime Minister of the DRC. From 2010 to 2015, Amani worked on World Bank private sector development programs targeting fragile and conflicted-affected countries.
