Julie Kamungele

A real coffee enthusiast with a strong interest in the empowerment of women and youth of the Congo, Julie has over 20 years of experience in coffee and cocoa procurement, processing, and export administrative follow-up. Since 2020, Julie has been the Executive Officer of the International Women in Coffee Alliance (IWCA) in the D.R.C. She has equally served as the CEO of the Initiative des Femmes dans le Café Cacao (IFCCA), a Congolese Women in a coffee initiative she co-founded. Julie holds a diploma in Financial Accounting from Ecole Pratique Hautes Etudes Commerciales (EPHEC) in Belgium and a diploma in Economics from the University of Namur (Belgium). She has extensive knowledge in accounting as she has worked for over 20 years as a Chief Accountant in the private sector.
